What gets left behind

Why bin cleaning matters

The mess doesn't stay in the bag.

Leaks and loose trash settle into the bin. In North Carolina heat, the smell follows it back to the garage or driveway.

  1. 01

    Odor sticks around

Leaking bags leave residue along bin walls and at the bottom, where bad smells and bacteria can build up.

  2. 02

    Pests notice

Food residue attracts flies and can encourage maggot growth and other unwanted visitors.

  3. 03

    You still handle it

Regular cleaning removes the grime and mold that build up in the bins you handle every week.

Hot-water sanitation

More than a rinse.

High-pressure water at approximately 200°F cleans, sanitizes, and deodorizes your bins.

Eco-friendly service

Clean cans. Considerate care.

Purpose-built equipment and biodegradable cleaning agents tackle the residue left behind by everyday trash.

Wastewater recovery

We take the dirty water with us.

We recover all wastewater during bin cleaning, keeping dirty runoff out of driveways and storm drains.

Frequently asked

Questions before you book?

For a quick answer about your bins or address, call or text Bin Renew directly.

Book your cleaning
How much are extra cans and cleaning days?

Residential plans include up to two cans, with each extra can priced at $10 regardless of container type. An additional cleaning day is $20. Restaurant and commercial plans include up to three cans, with each extra can priced at $20 and an additional cleaning day at $40. Review the final total during signup.

How does trash-bin cleaning work?

After you request service, Bin Renew confirms the date and access instructions. Please leave bins by the curb when possible; if that is not practical, let us know so we can agree on an accessible spot. Empty, accessible bins are cleaned with purpose-built equipment, then left ready for you to roll back home. You can request that bins be returned to a specific location during signup.

Do I need to be home?

Usually, no. As long as the appointment is confirmed and the bins are empty and accessible to the driver, the cleaning can be handled without a homeowner present. Bin Renew will send any job-specific instructions when scheduling.

When should I leave my bins out?

Leave them out only after your normal collection and once your Bin Renew service date is confirmed. That helps make sure the bins are empty and ready to clean.

How often should bins be cleaned?

It depends on household use, the season, and what goes into the bin. Ask Bin Renew about current one-time and recurring options when you book.

What types of bins do you clean?

We clean most wheelie-style trash and recycling bins. We do not accommodate tote-style bins. Include your bin types and count when signing up so we can confirm suitability.

What areas do you service?

We serve Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Youngsville, and surrounding communities. If you are outside our current service area, call, text, or email us and we will see whether accommodations can be made. We are also planning expansion into eastern North Carolina.

What if my trash has not been picked up when you get here?

Our next-day service is designed to follow your trash collection. If your cans are not empty when we arrive, we may return later that day if the route allows. Alternatively, we can carefully bag remaining trash, clean the cans, and place the sealed bag back inside for pickup. Contact us if you know collection has been delayed.

When will I be billed for service?

Payment is collected before service. Monthly cleaning is $30 per month, quarterly cleaning is $45 every three months, and one-time cleaning is $65. Review your payment dates at signup.

Why should I have my trash cans cleaned?

Leaking bags leave residue where odors, bacteria, mold, and pests can build up. We clean, sanitize, and deodorize your cans using high-pressure water at approximately 200°F and biodegradable cleaning agents. Our purpose-built system recovers all wastewater to keep dirty runoff out of your driveway and storm drains.

Is there a contract?

Monthly service has a three-month minimum commitment. Quarterly service is billed every three months and has a one-year minimum commitment. One-time, on-demand cleaning has no recurring commitment. Recurring plans renew automatically at their billing frequency. You can request cancellation anytime; renewal stops at the end of the minimum commitment or, after that, the current paid billing period. Call or text (919) 210-9408 or email walker@binrenewnc.com to cancel. See our service terms for details.

Can my neighborhood book together?

Yes. We work with HOAs and property managers to coordinate neighborhood service. If five or more neighbors want service at the same time, contact us about group pricing and route availability. Group rates are quoted individually.
